MIDWEST SHOOTOUT TOURNAMENT RULES:

SEEDING: Ties for seeding purposes will be broken based on:
1. Win/Loss Record
2. Head to Head Record
3. Total Points Allowed

PLAYERS: Players must compete in their grade classification. Exception: Younger players may participate in
older divisions. Players can compete on only one team in their division or grade. If incorrect information is
provided, the player and team may be ineligible.

GAME RULES: 20 minute halves with running clock. Clock only stops during time-outs, injuries, and the
last two minutes of the half. All teams must have numbered jerseys. Teams may press up to a 20 point lead.
No press in the 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, and 4th Grade Recreation Division. Game time is forfeit time. Two full
time-outs per half. No carry-over. Overtime: 2 minutes with one time-out. Clock stops last minute. If a team
is leading by 30 points or more, the clock does not stop except on time outs.

HALFTIME: Shall be no longer than 5 minutes. At least a five minute pre-game warm-up will be given even
if games are running behind schedule. No games will start before their scheduled time unless agreed to by both coaches.

BEHAVIOR: Two Flagrant fouls (2) (fighting, etc.) or direct technical fouls during a game on any player,
coach, or team representative will result in their disqualification for the rest of the tournament. Tournament

Director will make the final decision on any disqualifications.
